It’s been a minute since I’ve had the thrill of getting a new camera but I forgot how hard it can be to find one in good condition.
I’ve been testing some cameras on Depop which was inspired by the simple fact that film can be a bit scary when you start/costly and trying to find a working camera from a trust worthy source can be draining. I was reminded of these frustrations when two of the cameras I invested in that take pack film showed up busted with battery erosion and another with a broken view finder/handle which was damaged during shipping.
The good news is one of the cameras worked. She arrived dusty but the tests blew me away. The left over Fuji FP 100C waiting in the back was an added bonus. I can’t wait to use it in a real shoot.
